Kitchenaids, Menu Planner, and a free download!

My daughters are becoming a big help in the kitchen.  At almost 12 and 13, they should be!

To encourage them to help out with meal planning, shopping with coupons, and cooking, I made a daily menu plan for them to fill out.  Their job is to choose a cookbook, select a main dish that they want to prepare, check the items we have on hand, and then prepare a shopping list.

I go searching for coupons to use on our shopping trip.  Our usual store to shop for groceries is Kroger, because of their great deals.  When combined with coupons, we're able to spend less.

My girls are doing a great job and are showing more of an interest in being a frugal shopper.  Read more about them here.

I'm offering a free printable pdf of the menu planner.  On the bottom is a "cut and carry" shopping list.
Hope it helps makes things a little easier in your life.

Great Job! This is wonderful for them to learn how to shop frugally and to cook. Glad they are doing well with it and enjoying it. That's important.
